22 Dec Coming together with SES for Levi Douglas
The Fairfield State Emergency Service (SES) crew showed great support for a local boy in need by organising an open day at its headquarters on Sunday December 18 to raise funds for five-year-old boy Levi Douglass, who suffers from a brain tumour. Levi was allowed of out hospital for the day so he could join in with the celebrations.
The event was supported by local business and groups such as Cabramatta Police, Yennora Fire Station, Search Dogs Sydney, Sydney West Riders, Party Heros and Bouncing Giggles. There were fun activities and demonstrations including a special visit from Batman and The Joker. With Levi’s family facing high medical costs, a charity fund has been created to help Levi with his long battle ahead.
